Thin aromatherapy
L’Acqua dell’Angelo, as the name implies, is founded on the use of plants that are traditionally associated to the purity of the Angels. It was born after a historical research of the origins of the phytotherapeutic tradition, a discipline that studies the use of extracts of natural origin as medicines or health-promoting agents, which employs essential oils for the care, the harmony of the physical body and the development of human potential.
Myrtle
In ancient times myrtle was used to obtain “the water of the Angels”, which wealthy dames consumed to improve their skin tone due to its toning, refreshing and purifying action. It is believed to be the plant of “angelic” purity.
Bergamot
Also known as “The Scent of Paradise” Bergamot has a fresh and pervasive scent that feels almost flowery. The essential oil is extracted from the peel of the fruit and is widely used in perfumery since 1700. Bergamot is revered for its powerful mood elevating effects; it gives confidence, promotes metal clarity, sharpens your senses, calms your emotions, lifts you spirit and supports restful sleep and sweet dreams. It has a regeneration action that instills joy and soothes emotional pain.
Litsea
Litsea is a small evergreen tree native to China, Indonesia, India, and other areas of Southeast Asia where it is commonly referred to as ‘May Chang (Call of the Angel) as it is believed to create a direct bond with the angels. Its fragrant flowers and leaves have a delightfully fresh and floral scent. Litsea essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the small, pepper-like fresh fruits. It has a dual action, both stimulating and soothing, promoting energy and mental clarity. Litsea is a sedative, neurovegetative equipoise, antidepressant and natural anxiolytic. Helps fight fears, phobias, insomnia and anxiety, restoring harmony. Litsea essential oil is perfect for a candid light-filled awakening and for invigorating showers. Perfect to be diffused in study and work environments as it counters mental fatigue and increases concentration.
Mandarin
Sweetly tangy, Mandarin is know for promoting calmness and uplifting the mood. It reduces the negative effects of daily stress and supports feelings of contentment and wellbeing. The essential oil is extracted from the rind of the fruit which infuses its aroma with simple notes of sweetness that convey a message of simple playfulness, awakening the inner child in us. Lemon
Lemon is a tribute to sunlight. The essential oil brings back its full splendor, offering us balance and harmony. We commonly associate it with purity and protection. The fresh citrus scent has cleansing and tonifying properties; it calms and refreshes the mind, helps rest and fights insomnia, increases concentration and memory clarity, reinforces the sense of identity and relieves fears.
Incense
The name derives from the Latin word “incendere” which means burn or shine. It has always been associated with the fire of divinity, and used in prayer to facilitate the link between the human and the divine. Salty, rich and spicy, the essential oil is extracted from the resin of the elegant shrub native of the Red Sea region. Perfect for meditation and prayer, its soft and aromatic fragrance favors contact with your own spirituality. Incense calms a worried mind and creates a serene state of consciousness. Regularly used in worship and purification, it centers the heart, enhances concentration, and opens intuition.
Eucalyptus
Distinguished by a crisp, clean fragrance note, Eucalyptus is represented by the color “blue”, one of the colours of the Archangel Michael, the leader of all angels and of the army of God, in Christianity, Judaism and Islam’s tradition. Olfattiva originates from a need for purity and authenticity, which led us to rediscover the principles of ancient perfumery and to deepen our knowledge of plants.
The complete naturalness of the product is the cornerstone of our work: since aromatherapy properties belong exclusively to essential oils, a perfume that contains synthetic substances does not bring any benefit to the organism.
Vegan: we use only raw materials of vegetable origin;
We use only pure essential oils, obtained through steam distillation, cold-press or absolute extraction. Essential oil is the soul of the plant that holds the active ingredients;
Our products do not contain synthetic substances of any kind (paraben free, etc.);
Cruelty free: we produce our products in full respect of the environment and all living beings, we do not test on animals.
Advice and warnings
Plants produce essential oil to protect themselves from mold, bacteria and external agents. Essential oils are natural preservatives, often antiseptic and antifungal. In addition, the presence of beet alcohol inside the Botanical Perfumes further favors the good preservation of the product. If properly stored these products do not have a proper expiration date and can be used for several years: only Acque containing citrus fruits, which are more sensitive to oxidation, should be used within a year to fully enjoy their freshness.
