In diffusion: Mint is a friend of our breath: anti-inflammatory, expectorant and balsamic, it helps greatly in case of colds. It leads to greater efficiency and concentration in work and study. Its freshness repels insects and parasites, removes nausea and headaches, dizziness and car sickness.
Massage, ointments and frictions: antispasmodic, tonic and digestive, Mint Essential Oil is truly effective when massaged (in dilution) on the stomach and abdomen as it stimulates the bile flow, contests the formation of gas, fights nausea and halitosis. Circulatory and refreshing, Mint is also highly beneficial when massaged on the lower limbs, especially when they are swollen and aching, even after sport activity. If applied to the skin and mucous membranes, it stimulates the nerve endings and gives a pleasant feeling of freshness.
Febrifuge and immunomodulatory: in case of flu, you can safely use it for body frictions and aromatic baths. Analgesic and cephalic, Mint actively fights headaches: it can be used both in diffusion and inside a cream or a basic vegetable oil, massaged on temples, nape and wrists.
Adding a few drops of Mint Essential Oil in your toothpaste or inside the mouthwash increases cleanliness and helps to have a fresher breath.
Avoid during Pregnancy and Breastfeeding. We recommend adequate dilution in Carrier Oil (1-2%) as a high dose of Mint Essential Oil can turn its cooling effect into a heating effect. We do not recommend its use in people suffering from epilepsy or any form of seizures and with nervous system problems due to its powerful excitant effect.
