Lemon Essential Oil
Thin aromatherapy
Lemon Essential Oil is obtained by cold-press extraction of the rind of the fruit, which allows to bring back the extraordinary properties of the sun. At the olfactory level, Lemon is a head note, tall and graceful, which presents at the same time the grounding and balancing effects of a base note. In diffusion, the clean energy of the lemon enhances concentration and analysis. Provides mental clarity, stimulates memory, improves productivity at work. Lemon acts directly on the nervous system and on our psyche: its clean and grounding energy supports and instills courage and determination, promotes self-confidence, frees from constraints and conditioning. It also prevents blocks of the sympathetic nervous system, stimulates parasympathetic functions. Lemon improves memory and helps in communication, which makes work much more efficient (perfect for writers and journalists).

USES
In diffusion: antiseptic, Lemon cleans the air and thoughts. It creates the perfect atmosphere for work and study, but also for resting. It acts on the nervous system, calming minds in turmoil and giving mental lucidity. Lemon’s key words are balance and clarity. Reduces nervous hunger and lessens the urge to smoke.
Massage, ointments and frictions: Lemon decongests the lymphatic system and stimulates the venous circulation; this makes it one of the most appropriate Essential Oils for draining or purifying massages. Lemon can also be dissolved in the water (using a carrier) for an aromatic bath that strengthens the circulation and helps to expel toxins. Immunostimulant, this truly precious Essential Oil is also a febrifuge: in case of cold or cough, the sponging on the body or the frictions under the sole of the foot are extremely useful. Antirheumatic, Lemon can be used to treat aching joints, if diluted in Vegetable Oil. If massaged on the solar plexus area, due to its digestive properties, it can also stimulate liver and stomach function. If inserted in hair masks or wraps, Lemon Essential Oil contributes to the strengthening and brightness of the hair.
Face: astringent, purifying and cicatrizant, it helps to control the proliferation of sebum. Lemon Essential Oil can be added to moisturizer or green clay for facial masks. It is extremely effective on acneic skin.
SECRETS
Thanks to the presence of limonene, Lemon Essential Oil promotes lipolysis. Add it to a cream or an oil for your legs, buttocks and abdomen and massage the fat pads until absorption.
