Hand care with essential oils
Our hands can say a lot about us. We use them for daily activities and to lovingly caress our loved ones. It is very important that they are adequately cared for, also because we expose them daily to pollutants and particularly aggressive detergents. Essential oils can help us keep them beautiful but above all healthy. If you already use a hand cream, essential oils can be added to it (about ten drops per 100ml); otherwise, you can prepare a specific one. Basic hand cream: 12 g of cocoa butter 30 ml of almond oil 12 g of beeswax Melt the cocoa butter and beeswax in a double boiler, then add the almond oil and 10 drops of essential oil. The cream can be made more or less liquid by adding a greater or lesser amount of almond oil, as desired. Essential oils suitable for dry and neglected hands: Geranium - Patchouli - Rose - Lemon - Neroli Antiseptic essential oils, to keep hands clean while maintaining their elasticity and beauty: Lemon - Rosemary - Lavender - Eucalyptus Some of these oils are also useful for helping nail growth and strengthening them. Simply create a synergistic blend with a carrier oil (jojoba or carrot oil is highly recommended) and about 10 drops per 100 ml of Cypress, Rosemary, Lemon, Eucalyptus or Grapefruit to be stored in a bottle, preferably dark glass. It can be applied and massaged onto the fingers and toes whenever desired. For those who wish to soften cuticles, the massage can be performed with jojoba oil and Eucalyptus. However, if a fungal infection affects the nails, to 5 ml of jojoba oil, you should add 2 drops of Lavender, 1 of Thyme 2 of Tea tree Once you've taken care of them, you can use your hands to do beautiful things!
